Joseph D. Kreutz
President/Chief Executive Officer

Joseph D. Kreutz who is a life-long Ventura County resident, graduated from Ventura High School and Ventura College. Mr. Kreutz holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University of Sacramento.

Mr. Kreutz has more than three decades of experience in the financial industry and has held leadership positions since 1977, beginning with Santa Paula Savings and Loan. In 1996, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of First National Bank of Ventura, which later became Bank of Ventura.

In 2003, he led a team of local professionals and business leaders to found County Commerce Bank. Mr. Kreutz, as founding President and Chief Executive Officer of County Commerce Bank and the largest shareholder, has developed County Commerce Bank into one of the strongest and best performing banks in California. Under his leadership, he has strategically grown the Ventura County based independent bank in asset size and expanded from a one branch operation to two branches in 2006.

Mr. Kreutz serves on the boards of the Economic Development Corporation of Oxnard (EDCO), Ventura County Economic Development Association (VCEDA), and the Ventura Chamber of Commerce and is a founding member of the Ventura High School (VHS) Alumni Foundation. He is actively involved in the community and has served on many boards of local service organizations including the Golden Oaks Invitational Golf Tournament for the Benefit of the Ventura Boys and Girls Club, the Ventura Education Partnership, the Ventura Housing Authority, the Ventura College Foundation, and the Orfalea Financial Literacy Program for youth. He has also coached youth sports for many years including little league, basketball and soccer. He resides in Ventura with Kyle, his wife of 33 years, and their two sons.
 

Richard M. Favor
Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Favor is Executive Vice President and the Chief Operating Officer of County Commerce Bank.  Mr. Favor was instrumental in the early success of the bank, serving as Chief Credit Officer where he managed all aspects of loan production and classified assets as well as Community Reinvestment Act and compliance issues for the bank from the bank’s formation in 2003 until August 2007.  Mr. Favor returned to CCB as Chief Operating Officer in May 2011 to assist the bank in pursuing strategic goals for expansion and growth.  Mr. Favor received a B.S. degree in business administration from San Diego State University.  Mr. Favor is the past chairman of the Ventura Family YMCA, past president and current board member of the Tri-Counties Risk Management Association.   Mr. Favor resides in Camarillo with his wife, Ann Marie.
