It was announced by BauerFinancial, Inc. that County Commerce Bank, Ventura County's award winning bank has been awarded the Five-Star “Superior” rating for the sixteenth consecutive quarter. The Five-star “Superior” rating is the highest rating and indicates that the institution in one of the safest in the United States, according to the certificate presented by BauerFinancial, Inc. Joseph D. Kreutz, President and Chief Executive Officer stated “BauerFinancial issues ratings based on information all U.S. Banks and federally insured credit unions submit to the FDIC on their quarterly CALL reports. BauerFinancial is an unbiased third party that has been rating banks from a depositor's perspective since 1983.” Kreutz added, “We agree with Bauer, ‘peace of mind matters' and we are pleased to provide our customers a safe, secure institution for their banking needs.
County Commerce Bank was the only bank headquartered in Ventura County to receive Premier Performing Bank by Findley Reports in 2008; the fifth straight year for the bank. Other awards include Public Company of the year 2008 by the Pacific Coast Business Times, Western Regional Winner of the Small Business of the Year Award in 2006 by the US Chamber of Commerce and Mid Sized Business of the Year 2006 by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce.
